Trading

More than likely historically, financial trading on the markets was once a more sociable affair. Anyone interested in financial trading would speak to their broker via telephone who would be given instructions and who would then enter the investors order directly with the trading floor or exchanges. Of course now days with the advent of the internet most investors will carry out their transactions using online trading sites, the benefits to the investor are that they are able to react quickly and efficiently to market trends using e trading, their orders of course will not be open to misunderstanding or human error. The online trading orders may well be checked by the broker to make sure that there is nothing illegal occurring that might cause the broker any legal ramifications, but other than that there is no great need for the broker or their client to interact. Of course this type of financial trading broker will have lower fees than a full service broker who will impart the benefit of his advice and give recommendations to their client assisting in the transaction and is probably the most suitable for those wishing to embark on internet trading who are not comfortable with the processes themselves.

For those that would like to get involved in online trading but who do not want to invest in the stock market or pay commission fees, the ability to use the services of a spread betting company that provides the opportunity to get involved with internet trading without the possible risks associated with owning ordinary shares is very attractive. Add to the package no commission feed, the lack of stamp duty and zero capital gains then the advantages of online trading using spread betting sites is very attractive to UK private investors. The e trading spread betting company will make their money by hedging the bet so that your win does not become their loss.

Stock market trading involves the trading of company stocks and shares or derivatives at a price that has been agreed, and is a way for investing in companies that are regarded as potentially profitable. Stocks are listed daily on an exchange which allows buyers and sellers to come together to participate in share trading and people who get involved in stock market trading can be any individual from the very smallest of investors to professional hedge fund traders, however many years ago this was not the case it would most likely have been the very wealthiest of families taking part in stock market trading. Share trading might take place on the trading floor of say the London stock exchange or virtually be electronic means, but all trades are carried out by a buyer putting a bid price in and finding a price that the seller finds acceptable then the share trading will take place.
